During Mark Zuckerberg’s testimony week in front of the US congress, one interesting element came out – how Facebook would use AI to flag, monitor and police speech on its platform. This is the latest manifestation of how AI will either (or both) solve all our problems or destroy civilization as we know it, like the late Stephen Hawking postulated.
So judging from what has been developed and used so far, would you say that Artificial Intelligence has lived up to its hype? And has it been more beneficial or detrimental to our lives?
